Single-family house
in Hoppegarten
In Hoppegarten near Berlin, a formerly gas-heated two-family house was converted with a hybrid air/PVT heat pump system. The house has approximately 320 square meters of living space and previously consumed approximately 29,000 kWh of natural gas! The heating load is 14 kW.

- Brine/water heat pump Clausius Classic H 5-25 DS
Saving:
With a maximum COP of 4.8 and an SPF (SPF) of 3.7, the house only requires about 7,800 kWh of electricity, most of which is self-produced.
The air inverter (air heat pump) in the outdoor area has a sound pressure of 35 dB and is (unique worldwide) inaudible!

Berlin - Hönow
In Berlin's Hönow district, a gas-heated single-family home was converted to a PVT heat pump system. The house has approximately 130 square meters of living space and previously consumed approximately 11,500 kWh of natural gas! The heating load is 8 kW.

Saving:

Common ice storage with 420 m3 water volume
Murtenstrasse 147 Bern
The currently largest ice storage facility with 1,800 m3 supplies an aparthotel with 220 apartments (https://loslorentes.com/res/), commercial premises and 85 apartments with heating and cooling energy.
An ice storage system combined with PVT hybrid modules covers the entire heating and cooling energy demand. The building is being constructed without any fossil fuel backup heating.
